    Y = - 2x+5 ... 1

    2y+4x=10 ... 2

    you substitute the value of y in the second equation and that will be

    2 (-2x+5) + 4x = 10

    -4x+10 + 4x = 10

    0=0 so for any value of x the system of equations has infinite solutions
