    Split - 10x = - 3x - 7x

    3x^2 - 3x - 7x + 7

    group terms factor gcf

    (3x^2 - 3x) + (-7x + 7)

    3x (x - 1) - 7 (x - 1)

since parenthesis are same (x - 1) combine outside factors

    = (3x - 7) (x - 1)
