Average age of 3 members 5 years ago = 25

    Total age of the 3 members 5 years ago = 25 x 3 = 75

    Total age of the 3 members today = 75 + (5x3) = 90 years

Average age of 4 members today = 23

    Total age of the 4 members today = 23 x 4 = 92 years

    Present age of the child = 92 - 90 = 2

Answer: The child is 2 yers old.
