    It would cost more to go to the zoo by $6

    Step-by-step explanation:

    The total amount that each attraction costs can be given by;

    Science center

    Total cost at the science center=cost per ticket*number of tickets

    where;

    Total cost at the science center=$36.75

    Cost per ticket=c

    Number of tickets=3 tickets

    Substituting;

    36.75=c*3

    c = (36.75/3) = 12.25 per ticket to go to the science ticket

    For 12 students, total cost at the science center = (12.25*12) = $147

    Zoo

    Total cost at the zoo=cost per ticket*number of tickets

    where;

    Total cost at the zoo=$51

    Cost per ticket=d

    Number of tickets=4 tickets

    Substituting;

    51=d*4

    d = (51/4) = 12.75 per ticket to go to the zoo

    For 12 students, total cost at the zoo = (12*12.75) = $153

    Total zoo cost-Total science center cost = (153-147) = $6

    It would cost more to go to the zoo by $6
