Let f (x) = 4x + 2 and g (x) = - 3x - 6. Find (f o g) (5).

    G (5) = (-3) x5 - 6;

    Then, g (5) = - 15 - 6;

    g (5) = - 21;

    (f o g) (5) = f (g (5)) = f (-21) = 4x (-21) + 2 = - 84 + 2 = - 82.
