A city has a population of 300,000 people. suppose that each year the population grows by 5%. what will the population be after 9 years?

    9 years * 5% = 45%

    300,000 * 45 = 13,500,000

    13,500,000 / 100 = 135,000 people

    300,000 + 135,000 = 435,000 people after 9 years
