Two regular dice are rolled, find the probability that the sum is less than 13.

    When 2 dice are thrown outcomes are,

    (2,1) (2,2) (2,3) (2,4) (2,5) (2,6)

    (3,1) (3,2) (3,3) (3,4) (3,5) (3,6)

    (4,1) (4,2) (4,3) (4,4) (4,5) (4,6)

    (5,1) (5,2) (5,3) (5,4) (5,5) (5,6)

    (6,1) (6,2) (6,3) (6,4) (6,5) (6,6) }

    Therefore total number of outcomes is 36.

    Hence, probability that the sum is less than 13 = 36/36 = 1

    Probability is 1 because sum of number appearing is always less than 13.
