The East Bay Deli, makes 12.38 pounds of pasta salad each day. West Bay Deli makes three times that amount each day. How many combined pounds of pasta salad is made per week between the two delis? Find a fourth of their combined weekly production of pasta salad.

    x=12.38*7 = 86.66 pounds per week

    y=3x*7 = 259.98 pounds per week

    x+y=86.66+259.98 = 346.64 pounds per week assuming a week has 7 days

    346.64/4 = 86.66
