    First you add the apples to find the total: 24+12=36

    Then u put the amount of green apples over the total which is 12 over 36, which is 1/3, so the answer is 2!

    Total apples = 24 + 12 = 36

    Total green apples = 12

    Green apples = 12/36 = 1/3

    Answer = 1/3
