A large group had an 18% tip added into their $90 restaurant bill. What was the total cost?

    Well, you take the cost of the bill times the percent of the tip (converted into a decimal (move the period to the left two numbers)) and then you would take that number plus the original cost of the bill. That's how you get the total. (it's $106.20 btw)
