To divide fractions you should keep the first number, change the symbol to times, and flip the second number like so
3/1 times 11/6
I would recommend to put 3 over 1 so you don't confuse yourself and then multiply
3 x 11 over
6
33/6 would be your answer
Think of how many times 33 would go into 6,
6 x 5 = 30, and 6 x 36 would be over 33, so the whole number would be 5.
5 3/6 is your mixed number since you would have 3 left over in your fraction
Simplify 3/6 and you would get 1/2
Your answer would be 5 1/2
