If Whitney receives her commission check at the end of the month along with her salary check, which of the following equations can be used to determine her total pay for the month?     X : The number of policies/cars sold per month

    Y: Total amount of pay for the month

    Amount of commission received for each car sold = 232$

    Total commission for X cars/policies sold = 232X

    Monthly salary = 1405$

    Therefore,

    Y = 1405 + 232x
