    Club A is 11+19m Club B is 15+18m When they cost the same the two expressions are equal so: 11+19m = 15+18m M. = 4 In 4 months the two health clubs will cost the same amount. The cost of each club is $87.

    Using the variable m for month

    Club A: Club B:

    19m+11 19m+11=18m+15 18m+15

    -18m - 18m

    m+11 = 15

    -11 - 11

    m=4

    Check 19 (4) + 11 = 87 18 (4) + 15 = 87

    total cost = 87
