Jade needs $45 to go on a field trip. He has saved $15.25. He earns $6.50 per hour cleaning his neighbor's garden, and he earns $5.25 per hour selling cakes at a store. Can Jade go on the field trip if he works at the garden for 2 hours and at the store for 3 hours?

[Use the inequality 6.50x + 5.25y + 15.25 ≥ 45]

    So 6.50•2=13.00.

    And 5.25•3=15.76. So add the 13.00,15.75 and the 15.25 and you get 44.00 so no he's a dollar short
