a can of soup has a diameter of 7 centimeters and a height of 11 cm assuming that a can is full what is the volume of soup contained in the can is 3.14 and run your answer to the nearest cubic centimeter

    The volume of a can, or cylindar, is height · πr²

    Since the problem gives us diameter, we need to halve it to get the radius: 7/2=3.5

    Then, we plug all the values in, where heigh = 11 and radius = 3.5

    11·π (3.5) ²

    11·3.14·12.25

    ≈ 423 cm³
