By selling a watch for 1505$, a man gains 1/6 of its cost price. Find the cost price of the watch.

    1290 is the answer

    Take 1505/7 (because the price gain 1/6 of the original price) = 215

    215*6 = 1290

    You can check by take 1290/6=215

    Then 1290+215will equal 1505
