    The volume of a cube by definition is:

    V = L ^ 3

    Where:

    L: side.

    We have then that the volume of a cube is:

    V = (1/3) ^ 3

    V = 1/27

    Then, the prism volume is:

    Vtotal = 3996 * V

    Vtotal = 3996 * (1/27)

    Vtotal 148 inches ^ 3

    Answer:

    the volume of the prism is:

    Vtotal 148 inches ^ 3
