    Distance traveled is directly proportional to time traveled.

    d α t

    d = kt, where k is constant of proportionality.

    Using d = 93 miles and t = 15 hours

    93 = k (15)

    15k = 93

    k = 93/15 = 6.2

    Hence variation equation is: d = kt, since k = 6.2.

    d = 6.2t

    Distance traveled in 24 hours:

    d = 6.2t

    d = 6.2*24

    d = 148.8

    Distance traveled is 148.8 miles.
