A sale on dog food that cost $10 a bag says buy 1, get one 1/2 off. What is the true percent discount on the dog food?

    Cost to buy one = $ 10

    Cost to buy two without discount = $ 20

    Cost to buy two with the discount = 10 + (1/2 * 10) = 15

    True percent discount on the dog food = 5/20 x 100 % = 25 %
