On a given planet, the weight of an object varies directly with the mass of the object. Suppose that an object whose mass is 8 kg weighs 24 N. Find the weight of an object whose mass is 10 kg.

    Set it up as a fraction:

    8kg = 10kg

    24N? N

    cross multiply

    8x=240

    x=30N
