4x - 5 (x - 2) = 12x + 4 - x
4x - 5 (x) - 5 (-2) = 12 - x + 4
4x - 5x + 10 = 11x + 4
-x + 10 = 11x + 4
+ x + x
10 = 12x + 4
- 4 - 4
6 = 12x
12 12
0.5 = x
