    Y - 4 = 2 (x + 6)

    y - 4 = 2 (x) + 2 (6)

    y - 4 = 2x + 12

    +4 + 4

    y = 2x - 16

    2x - 16 - 4 = 2x + 12

    2x - 20 = 2x + 12

    +20 + 20

    2x = 2x + 32

    2 2

    x = x + 16

    y - 4 = 2 (x + 16) + 12

    y - 4 = 2 (x) + 2 (16) + 12

    y - 4 = 2x + 32 + 12

    y - 4 = 2x + 34

    +4 + 4

    y = 2x + 38

    (x, y) = (x + 16, 2x + 38)
