The ratio of folding for the two teachers is 2:3

    Ms. Johnson = 2

    Ms. Siple = 3

    The sum of the ratio is 2 + 3 = 5

    Total cards folded = 300

The number of report card folded by Ms Johnson = 2/5 * 300 = 120

The number of report card folded by Ms Siple = 3/5 * 300 = 180

This means that Ms Johnson folded 120 report cards and Ms Siple folded 180 report cards.
