Jaime drew a square that has sides that are whole numbers of centimeters. Which could not be the area of Jaime's square? A. 25cm2 B. 36cm2 C. 50cm2 D. 64cm2

    area = S^2

    since a whole number was used

    take the square root of the possible answers:

    sqrt (25) = 5

    sqrt (36) = 6

    sqrt 50 = 7.07

    sqrt (64) = 8

    since sqrt 50 isn't a whole number, that would be the answer
