What is the product of the polynomials below?

(x + 2) (2x^2 + 9x + 8)

A. 2x^3 + 13x^2 - 26x + 16

B. 2x^3 + 17x^2 + 22x + 16

D. 16x^3 + 72x^2 + 46x - 16

    You multiply the terms i n the second bracket by x then multiply them by + 2 then simplify

    = 2x^3 + 9x^2 + 8x + 4x^2 + 18x + 16

    now add like terms

    = 2x^3

    - now add the like terms : - 9x^2 + 4x^2 = 13x^2 and so on
