    P=number of pots

    d=number of dishes

    6 times as many pots as dishes

    p=6d

    cost is 2600 total sales

    2600=30p+20d

    sub 6d for p

    2600=30 (6d) + 20d

    2600=180d+20d

    2600=200d

    divide both sides by 200

    13=d

    sub back

    p=6d

    p=6 (13)

    p=78

    78 pots and 13 dishes
