When angles complementary, the sum of their mesures is 90 degrees. Two complementary angles have measures of 2x-10 degrees and 3x-10 degrees. Find the measures of each angle.

    2x-10+3x-10=90 since they are complimentary

    collecting like terms together and simplifying we get

    2x+3x-10-10=90

    5x-20=90 adding 20 on both sides

    5x=110 dividing both sides by 5

    x=22

    The first angle will be

    2x-10 bt x=22

    2*22-10=34

    The second angle will be

    3x-10 bt x=22

    3*22-10=56
