A designer uses 8 clay beads for every 12 wooden beads to make a necklace. The

designer has 42 wooden beads. He sets up the proportion 8/42 = x/12

12 to find the number

of clay beads he will need to make necklaces. Is the proportion correct? How many

clay beads does the designer need? Explain.

    I think its like this becausse its stating that for every 8 clay beads he use 12 wooden beads to make a necklace so

    8/42 and 12/12
