The answer will be 144 because if u had 72 * 2 u would get 11

The other answer is incorrect. You should first divide 72 by 3, because Max has one share, and Tom has two. 72:3 is 24, which is how many Max has. Two times 24 is 48, and so Tom has 48. Your final answer is 48.
