Lucy's employer pays 70% of the total cost of her family's health insurance plan, while Lucy pays the rest. If the total cost of the plan will increase from $450 per month to $650 per month, how much more will Lucy have to pay each month?

    At $450,

    Lucy pays 30% of $450 = 0.3 x 450 = $135

    At $650,

    Lucy pays 30% of $650 = 0.3 x 650 = $195

    $195 - $135 = $60

    Lucy will have to pay $60 more each month
