When asked to explain the meaning of "the p-value was 0.03," a student says, "this means there is only probability 0.03 that the null hypothesis is true." is this an essentially correct explanation?

    NO this is not a good explanation

    p values do not measure the probability

    p values gives us the likely of our data if we assumed that our null hypothesis is true. this therefore means that if our null hypothesis was true we would obtain a difference in 0.03 in the study carried out
