To cover the toy box 35.475 sq ft paint is needed.

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Given,

The length (l) of the toy box = 3.8 ft

    Width (w) = 2.65 ft

    Height (h) = 2.75 ft

To find the amount of paint is need we need to find the lateral surface area first.

    Formula

    Lateral surface of the box = 2 (l+w) * h

    Now,

The surface area of the box = 2 (3.8+2.65) * 2.75 sq ft

    = 35.475 sq ft
