A packet of eggs contains six eggs. Abraham buys x packets. He uses two eggs for his breakfast.

i) Write an expression for the number of eggs that he has left.

ii) If he has 28 eggs left, how many packets did he buy?

    6x-2 because there are 6 eggs per packet and x packets and 2 are gone

    6x-2 = 28

    6x = 30

    x=5 so 5 packets
