The perimeter of a rectangle is 64 feet. If the width is 4 feet what is the length?

    64 = 2 (l+w)

    64 = 2[l + (4) ]

    64 = 2l + 8

    64 - 8 = 2l

    56 = 2l

    56/2 = 2l/2

    28 = l

    Perimeter: 2 (length + width)

    64 = 2 (length + 4)

    32 = (length + 4)

    28 = length
