    The difference (or error) is 240 - 200 = 40

    So what percent of 240 is 40?

    x% of 240 is 40

    x% * 240 = 40

    240x = 40

    x = 40/240

    x =.1666

    multiply by 100 to convert to a percentage.

    .1666 * 100 = 16.66%

    Rounded to the nearest 10th

    = 16.7%
