    A parallelogram has 4 sides.

So, we divide 72, the meters of the parallelogram. = 18

Now, the length is 4 more, so we add. 18+4=22

    The length is 22.

Now, both lengths are 22, so double is 44; subtract 44 from 72. 72-44=28

In conclusion, we divided 28 by 2 to get the width of both sides. 28/2=14

    The width is 14.
