    First find the total cost

    16 x 35 = 560 + 960 = 1520

    Then find the formula for the total amount of sweatshirts that need to be sold

    19x=1520

    1520/19 = 80 sweatshirts need to be sold total

    There are 16 students, so 80/16=5

    Each student needs to sell 5 sweatshirts
