It takes him t hours to get to the wedding and 1 hour to get home. Which equation best represents this information?

a r+20=rtr+20=rt

The distance between the house and the wedding location is the same in both directions. We know that: distance = speed x time We can set up two equations for the distance. On the way to the wedding: distance = (r+20) (t) On the way home: distance = (r) (1 hour) = r Since the distance is the same in both directions, we can equate the two expressions for the distance. (r+20) t = r The correct answer is (b)
