    Assuming they equal y

    y=3x+3

    y=-5x+7

    set eqal to each other since both equal y

    3x+3=-5x+7

    add 5x both sides

    8x+3=7

    minus 3 both sides

    8x=4

    divide by 8 both sides

    x=1/2

    sub back

    3x+3=y

    3 (1/2) + 3=y

    1.5+3=y

    4.5=y

    9/2=y

    x=1/2

    y=9/2

    (1/2,9/2) is soltuion

    Not sure if I'm right but I believe they intersect at (1,4).
