    Total cost for members for x nights = 45 + 35x

    Total cost for nonmembers for x nights = 40x

    For the total cost to be same

    45 + 35x = 40x

    40x - 35x = 45

    5x = 45

    x = 45/5 = 9

    The total cost for members and non members will be the same after 9 nights.
