If f (x) = 3x + 2 and g (x) = 2x - 2, what is (f - g) (x) ?

    (f - g) (x) = 3x + 2 - (2x - 2)

    (f - g) (x) = 3x + 2 - 2x + 2

    (f - g) (x) = x + 4
