Steps
Subtract 3 from both sides
k/5 + 3 - 3k - 3 = - 6k - 3
Then simplify,
k/5 - 3k = - 6k - 3
Add 6k to both sides
k/5 - 3k + 6k = - 6k - 3 + 6k
Simplify,
k/5 + 3k = - 3
Next, multiply both sides by 5
k/5 * 5 + 3k * 5 = - 3 * 5
So,
k + 15k = - 15
