Why is it important to consider scale when graphing inequalities?

    If two numbers on a graph differ by 1, without scale, the amount of inequality could vary infinitely. If the scale is 2, a difference of 1 is half the scale amount, but if the scale is 1000, the difference may be negligible. It is the scale that shows the degree to which the entries differ.
