Ted says that 3 tenths multiplied by 100 equals 300 thousandths. is he correct

    No he is not correct because. 3*100 would equal 30. This is because. 3 is not a whole number it is less so multiplying it by a whole number would decreases the amount it would be like dividing 100 by 3.
