    Add all the beads together:

    2 red + 1 yellow + 3 green = 6 beads in total

Add together all the beads that are NOT yellow:

    2 red + 3 green = 5 beads

Put the 5 that are not yellow over the total number:

5/6 is the probability that the bead selected at random will NOT be yellow
