Lorie bought 1 1/4 lb of roast beef at $2 per pound and 2 1/2 pound of turkey at $1.50 per pound

    2 dollars a pound.

    1*2=2$ + 25 cents=2.25$

    1.50*2=3+.50=3.50$

    2.25+3.50=$5.75

    She spent $5.75 dollars.
