    I am assuming the discount comes before the tax ... so I am figuring it that way.

    if ur getting 35% off, then ur actually paying 65% of the total price

    65% of 17,100 = 0.65 (17,100) = 11,115 ... this is with the discount, without the tax

    so tax is 2% ...

    2% of 11,115 = 0.02 (11,115) = 222.30 ... this is the tax

    total price = 11,115 + 223.30 = $ 11,337.30 <===
