Shamiks family is moving. They have to drive 2,520 miles. His dad says he knows he can drive 360 miles in 6 hours. If Shamiks family drives for 8 hours a day, about how many days of driving will his family have to do?

    Okay, so for the very first step it tell you that shamiks father can drive 360 miles in an hour. So what you would want to do is subtract 360 from 2,520 you will get 2160. So now what you do is see what 1/2 of 360 is because it says they drive 8 hours per day. 1/2 of 360 is 180 m, then subtract that from 2160 and you will then get, 1980 now all you have two do is add 180 + 360 to get 540. Now that you know his dad can drive 540 m in 8 hours so now all you have to do is divide 540 by 1980 to get about 3 days for them to arrive to their new home!
