An angle measures 50° more than the measure of a complementary angle. what is the measure of each angle?

    We solve the equation: a = 50 + (90 - a);

    Then, a = 140 - a;

    2a = 140;

    a = 140/2;

    a = 70 (it is the measure of one angle);

    90 - 70 = 20 (it is the measure of another angle);
