A small circular pool is enclosed in a square. Find the area inside the square but outside the circle.

    The diameter of the pool = the side of the square. Suppose it's d.

    A (d) = A (square) - A (circle)

    A (d) = d^2 - 1/4*phi*d^2 = d^2 (1 - phi/4)
